Photocopy of reminiscences concerning childhood on farms in Illinois and Iowa; his journey to California on an emigrant train in 1863; work as teamster in San Francisco and Nevada and as stage driver between San Jose and Santa Cruz, with description of stage robberies; railroading on the Santa Cruz and Felton Railroad from 1879.
